An awards luncheon was held on the first day of the conference to recognize many individuals who have contributed to the technical community through standards development. Awards were presented to over 30 MPMA technical committee members. Over 110 people gathered from all over the world and across the U.S. for three days of networking and presentations in the categories of Design and Rating; Electric Vehicles and Emerging Technology; Manufacturing and Inspection; Efficiency and NVH; and Materials and Performance. At the beginning of Session Two, the Distinguished Service Award was presented to Prakash Kadam, Managing Director of Pragati Transmission Pvt Ltd – India. “This honor is reserved for individuals who have unselfishly advanced the state of the gear industry through their notable careers,” said Matt Croson, President, MPMA.
