At EMO 2025 from 22 to 26 September, the focus will therefore be on rolling bearing developments from the UltraFast series and Extreme bearing platform, as well as cylindrical roller bearings from the NN series. Visitors to the SKF stand (Hall 006, Stand J24) will also gain exclusive insights into the newly built SKF Super-precision centre in Airasca, Italy, a state-of-the-art global centre of excellence that will bring together the entire value chain in the field of high-precision bearings under one roof. ‘Push the limits with confidence’ is the motto of SKF’s 100 square meter exhibition stand, which has been completely redesigned and presents the SKF product range for metalworking machines in a cutaway model of a spindle equipped with SKF rolling bearings. In addition to high-speed rolling bearings, which in the Ultrafast series version are actually pushing the boundaries of performance, this also includes SKF Insight sensor bearings, which provide machine operators with real-time feedback for better performance, as well as special lubrication systems for spindle machines. Sales Manager Karl-Heinz Littwin and his team will be on hand to explain the benefits of SKF solutions and applications to visitors at the exhibition. The Swedish rolling bearing company is currently eagerly awaiting the inauguration of the SKF super-precision centre at its Italian site in Airasca, which is scheduled to take place on 19 September – before EMO 2025. In 2021, SKF announced an investment of around 40 million Euro in a new, fully automated and digitalized production facility there, thereby demonstrating its commitment to Europe as a production location.
