ABB Electrification Canada Inc. has completed its acquisition of Bel Products Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of commercial, industrial and custom-made enclosures. The acquisition, for which financial details were not disclosed, is expected to strengthen ABB’s presence in the Canadian and U.S. markets. ABB says the enclosures market is experiencing strong growth due to rising demand in data centers, OEM applications and the electrical industry. The company serves industries including commercial, industrial, utilities and data centers. It will continue to operate from its existing manufacturing facility in Montreal and its warehouse in Terrebonne, Quebec.
