O-Rings FEP-/PFA-encapsulated O-Rings combine the excellent chemical resistance of PTFE with the elastic behavior of an elastomer. They are the top choice wherever an elastomer O-ring’s chemical resistance is insufficient but the rubbery-elastic quality of the seal remains indispensable – and, as a result, PTFE does not come into consideration as a material. Radial shaft seal rings are the core of Freudenberg’s seal business. For decades, they have set standards in the sealing of rotating shafts and spindles again and again.
