Seawork exhibitor, Lewmar announces the launch of a CE Certified Overside Working System. The Lewmar Overside Working System allows safe securing of a personal safety harness, providing the user freedom of movement and the ability to lock themselves into position while working at height on any project like vessel maintenance, blade cleaning in the renewable energy industry, building structures, utility, oil and gas sector. The system comprises a pair of linked cars that allow attachment of a personal suspension and fall arrest system. An optional tool carrier car can be added if required. The cars are machined in house from 6000 series aluminium and finished with 316 stainless fittings. Torlon bearings ensure smooth operation at high load and the plunger mechanism offers positive positioning on the track.
