The design team at HYE-Tech Manufacturing, LLC has announced it has developed a new design for the drive bearings (2543734HT) installed in all Model 250 Series Power Turbine Governors. Currently, the OEM drive bearings must be replaced every 1,200 hours in accordance with CEB-1413. Even though this “repetitive replacement requirement” is not applicable to HYE-Tech’s current design, HYE-Tech decided to take the lead and design a new drive bearing, rather than wait for the OEM.
